The module is drop-in replacement LED bulbs which retains the focusing ability of the Maglite flashlight. They are available in 1, 2, or 3 cells batteries depending on the flashlight body. Its output comes from the combination of a 3 Watt Cree-XPE LED and the constant current LED driver. It remains consistent brightness for days before dropping significantly to a lower output level. As the usual heatsinking problem, the Maglite flashlight bulbs' body diameter is very large, for the purpose of making better contact with the Maglite socket. This results in the possibility that the modules will only fit in Maglites.
